Home Remedies for Minor Burns Relief
Sometime your body or body skin get hit with something hot it may cause of minor Burn. Here some home remedies for burn which will quick relief your burn part. In minor burns, only the top layers of the skin gets red and painful. It is often referred to as first degree superficial burns. First degree can be reason by contact with steam, sun exposure and hot fluid or other objects. When you ignore minor burns it can be painful blisters. You have many natural remedies which can promote healing and reduce pain. When you use any home remedy it will treat minor burns in a few days.
Raw potato has anti-irritating and soothing properties which will alleviate the pain and treat minor skin burns because of its anti-irritating properties. it reduces the chance of having blisters.
Take one potato and cut a slice of it and rub it on the burn part.
Make sure the potato juice is releasing over the area or not. Because, juice of potato work fast to relief burn.
Coconut Oil and Lemon Juice
Both can help to treat a minor burn. Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids like lauric acid, caprylic acid and myristic acid and there is acidic properties in Lemon juice which lighten the scars naturally. Coconut Oil has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and antioxidant benefits which can completely reduce the minor burn pain.
It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which can effectively help to heal minor burns. Honey reduces the chances of increasing hypertrophic scars.
Take some honey and spread on a gauze bandage and then put this bandage on the burn area. You have to change the bandage three times a day for quick relief.
Black Tea Bags
Black Tea Bags contain tannic acid which helps draw heat out of a minor burn and reduce burn pain.
Take 3 Black tea bags and steep these bags in a pitcher filled with warm water for some times.
Leave this until the warm water gets cooled
After sometimes soak a clean cloth in it and keep the soaked cloth on the affected part.
You can use directly cold wet tea bags on the burn area.
Using running cold water over the burn area for a few moments, you can stop a burn from spreading. But it work instantly when it’s get happened within seconds of being burned. You have to place a cold compress over the affected area. It is compulsory you have to use this remedy every few hours to relieve the discomfort. But make sure you don’t have to use ice because it can restrict blood flow.
Lavender essential oil
It has painkilling and antiseptic properties which reduces the risk of scarring.
Take two cups of water and add five drops of lavender oil in it.
Soak a clean cloth in it and compress on the burn area for several times.
You can directly apply lavender oil on the burn part.
Take two teaspoons of honey and mix a few drops of lavender essential oil and apply this mixture directly on affected area few time a day to relief from burn or its pain.
Vinegar is very helpful for treating minor burns and prevents infection because it has antiseptic properties.
Add white vinegar and equal amount of water. Use this mixture to rinse the burned area.
Cover the affected area with a cloth soaked in diluted vinegar.
Change the cloth every two hours.
It contains sulfur compounds and quercetin which relives burn pains and heal the burn and reduces the chance of blistering.
Take some fresh onion juice and apply this juice onto the burn part. In few minutes it reduces the pain and relief from minor burn. Use this method several times a day.
It is an effective and popular home remedy to treat burns. Because plantain leaves are rich in anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Take some plantain leaves and crush these and make a paste.
Apply this plantain leaves paste directly on the affected area and cover with a cotton cloth.
Other important suggestion
You can use white toothpaste or a non-mentholated shaving cream on the affect area to relief.
You should not apply such kinds of things like butter, oil, egg whites or petroleum jelly. These things may trap the heat instead of drawing it out.
Applying ice on affected part brings relief but it tends to slow the healing process.
Breaking the blisters may increase the risk of infection.
You no need to use adhesive dressings on the wound.
You should protect the burn from friction.
